DESCRIPTION:Soit F le groupe fondamental d’une surface de genre g. Soit M(g\,G) l’espace des représentations de F dans un groupe compact G\, c’est une variété symplectique. Witten a donne une formule\, similaire aux formules de fonctions multi-zetas\, pour le volume de M(G\,g). C’est un nombre rationnel. Si G=SU(2)\, c’est le nombre de Bernouilli b(g). Nous montrons comment le calculer\, grace aux formules de résidus de Szenes. Ce travail est en commun\, avec Velleda Baldoni\, et Arzu Boysal.
