Presentation of M2 of mathematics
Third year students register to a second year of Master (M2). In order to help them chosing their diploma, the department organizes a one-day meeting during which various M2 programmes from greater Paris accessible to students are presented.
Renovation of Amphi Galois
Many lectures of mathematics take place in Amphitheatre Galois. This room is located at leve l-2 of the so-called « bâtiment des bibliothèques ». Unfortunately, it has no opening for receiving natural light. Moreover, it is complicated for students to take notes. And the platform hiding the temperature regulation and aeration systems creates a distance between teachers ans students. For all the reasons, discussions started for the purpose of a possible future renovation.
« Des mathématiques » (seminar)
New sessions of the seminar « Des mathématiques » are already scheduled. Pay attention that it now takes place on Wednesday at 1pm in Amphi Galois. It is followed by the traditional teatime of the department.
