Le DMA a organisé et financé, pour la première fois, une sortie mêlant jeunes normaliens et enseignants-chercheurs du DMA, l’espace d’un week-end, du 6 au 8 octobre 2023. La participation était libre, avec priorité pour les nouveaux normaliens et en particulier les normaliens de première année. Le groupe comptait plus de cinquante personnes : 42 étudiants (2 2021, 6 2022, 34 2023), 9 enseignants-chercheurs, et 2 administratifs. Au programme, le samedi, une randonnée le long du GR21 entre Fécamp et Étretat, et une préparation collective du dîner, puis le dimanche, sur le chemin du retour, une visite guidée de l’Abbaye de Jumièges et un déjeuner sur l’herbe. Un certain nombre de participants se sont baignés sur la plage d’Étretat ! L’hébergement a été assuré en gîte à Colleville, près de Fécamp, tandis que le voyage a été effectué en bus. L’événement a bénéficié d’une météo exceptionnelle, et d’une excellente ambiance générale. Il va sans doute être difficile de faire beaucoup mieux !
